In Chwałowice there is a team composed of outstanding musicians: King Glyk – bass guitar Cuba Gwardecki – keyboards, Ireneusz Glyk – drums.

King Glyk – just 18 years old. His adventure with the bass guitar at the age of 12 years playing in a family glyka PIK Trio with his father Irek (vibraphone) and his brother Patrick, who plays the drums. She played dozens of concerts in Poland and abroad, surprising his musicality and ease of playing the bass. She had the pleasure of playing with musicians such as Jnr Robinson, Ruth Waldron, Natalia Niemen, Paul Tomaszewski, Joachim Mencel, Arek Skolik, Matthew Otremba “Mate.o” Adam Szewczyk, Marek Plywood, Thomas Lipert, or Peter Wyleżoł. On “Register” find eight tracks with a perfect groove’em Irek glyka, juicy Rhodes parties performed by Joachim Mencel and several guest vocal performances. In addition to Jnr’a Robinson and Jorgos Skolias sings here Natalia Niemen – is also instrumental version of the song “Doloniedola” from the repertoire of her father, Czeslaw Niemen. And above it all perfect, pulsating bass guitar parts Kinga.

 

King astonishing mature game on bass. It has a sophisticated sense of groovu, precise articulation, and a developed sense of improvisation. These factors augur hope for Kinga will be even loudly in the music world!
