Participation in the proposed, free classes – their selection, planning their own time allowed for the mobilization of mental and increase life activity. Through participation in class theater and arts elderly and people with mental health problems also have a chance to change attitudes and behavior in dealing with other people, they can find happiness and meaning in life by operating its own and shared dreams.

 

The project was addressed to senior citizens, and persons with a history of psychiatric participating in therapeutic activities.

Built for the youngest, the only such exhibition about children for children.

Through this initiative, around 300 the youngest residents of the city of Rybnik could become the heroes of photographs presented on 6 different shows in different places at different times.

Each edition of the Children of Rybnik has a separate story to tell.

The first – it was of great architecture and the kids in the city. Architecture which, in this way, author of the exhibition wanted to save from oblivion.

The second – the whole was devoted to passions and interests of children mainly from Rybnik schools and kindergartens including those unpopular, where educated: World Champion in weightlifting, fantastic musicians, actors, athletes.

A third – Agnieszka Fałat dedicated student of the Rybnik orphanage, which she managed to befriend thanks to earlier editions. Not everyone knows that among them are also teenage mothers who are having children now have an important role to play in the lives of their children.

Catherine Sobiechowska-Szuchta: Recently you were a guest of the Warsaw Book Fair, at meetings with Ms were the crowds, what is the most frequently asked readers? What topics are moved, they wanted to know?

Ewa Leipzig: What’s interesting – do not ask me about personal issues, only talked about himself. The fact that they read my books for many years. They brought old editions of my books, which it releases I’ve even forgotten. They brought the book “zaczytane”. I really like it and I think it’s very touching, because it means that such a book alive. And there was a lady, not so young, who have all my books on the reader, as e-books. It’s me I hear from these people about themselves. And about how my creativity works on my readers. In general – for such a meeting – come people who read poetry.

There are artists who create, write, make art, movies, and then give them to readers, viewers, listeners and not too much longer like to talk about it. With you it is so? Do you like to talk with your readers?

On the one hand, I behave a bit like wyrodna mother and at the time the book Cease interest in her. I think of these verses best, which is still unwritten. But those already issued to belong to the readers. And I really like to talk with readers, like to talk with young people, I have great relations with them. We are talking not only about poetry. This is often a pretext to talk about life, about the present, the future, the past, about humanity, but also about love. I am open to all topics.
