“Karbala”, the latest movie by Krzysztof Lukaszewicz, backstage betrays the Polish mission in Iraq. Based on a true story about a heroic defense of the town hall City Hall by Polish and Bulgarian soldiers. The premiere will take place on September 11, but now you can see the film preview.
3 April 2004, the Polish and Bulgarian troops in Iraq, the soldiers were given the command at all costs had to defend strategic City Hall against Islamic rebels. Given the limited supply of ammunition and food, the military had to fight not only the enemy, but also fear and their own weaknesses. Thanks to the heroism and determination they managed to survive without the loss of a single soldier.

The film “Karbala” is inspired by the true story of Lt.-Col. Kaliciak Gregory, who commanded a division of soldiers. As a participant in those events was also a consultant merits of the film.
Film hero, commander Kalicki, played Bartlomiej Topa. Also starring Anthony Królikowski see Tomasz Schuchardt, Leszek muck, Michal Zurawski, Piotr Zurawski, Luke Simlat, Nicholas Roznerskiego, Peter Glowacki, Zbigniew Stryj, Jacob Wieczorek and Kazimierz Mazur. They partnered with their foreign actors – Hristo Shopov and Atheer Adel. Shooting for the film arose among other things, in Jordan, and their by Arkadiusz Tomiak.
The film will be released on September 11.
