About the art without words. Launch of International Mime Art Festival – rmf24.pl

In Warsaw, June 5 start to the XV International Mime Art Festival. It will open the premiere of “Marcel” directed by Lionel Menard. A day later, the Polish public will present the famous clown Alexei Mironov in the comedy program “Bon Voyage”.

On Friday on Stage At Will Dramatic Theatre will be able to see the play “Marcel” Theatre of Warsaw Pantomime Centre. It is January 1991 when presenting Marcel Marceau his short film directing. It is to be short mimodram telling about life of the local school in the village of pre-war – tells the director Lionel Menard. I mention that the famous mime Marcel Marceau suggested that it would be good if at the end of this art children were grown, then the aged, and then remembered about the lost illusions of youth. It had a lie in his heart because long encouraged me to continue this work – adds Lionel Menard. In the play are: Ewelina Grzechnik, Martha Grądzka, Paulina Szczęsna, Paul Kulesza, Ireneusz Wojaczek and Bartholomew Ostapczuk. Warsaw International Mime Theatre is a theater group created by the actors for years associated with the Warsaw Mime Centre. Theatre productions implement the creator of mime from around the world. By combining the skills of the actors and the imagination and experience of the invited artists we are trying to show how much Mime Art has to offer the modern viewer. The performance is a co-production with the Theatre Dramatic m. St. Warsaw

On Sunday, on the same stage the audience will see “BON VOYAGE” Alexei Mironov, the German-Russian co-production. Alexei Mironov world-famous clown, who performed, among others, the famous Cirque de Soleil. He has evolved a unique style that reached the World Summit contemporary physical comedy and clowning. In “Bon Voyage” artist tries to awaken in the viewers a whole spectrum of emotions, from laughter after a reflective sadness. “Mironov balances on the edge of embarrassment and humor, poetry and everyday life. His characters often find themselves in strange places and unusual situations. His comic performances charmed the audience theater and cabaret festival in the world. The endless improvisation, new accents and unexpected development of events consisting of the unique combination “- write the organizers of the International Mime Art Festival in Warsaw.
