Visit at the fair is one of the great ideas for picnics
Market of handicrafts and wholesome food is the first of its kind event in Goniadz. It will be an opportunity to purchase regional specialties: grapeshot Biebrza, Biebrza cheese “Battalion”, smoked sausages in natural alder smoke, bread baked in a former tile stove, organic eggs of green-traditional buns “knyszy” with Knyszyn, plantain potato and black pudding. Folk art connoisseurs can also buy sculptures, oil paintings and hand-embroidered handicrafts and many other equally interesting and inspiring objects. The event will be held at the Old Market Square in front of the Municipal Cultural Center in Goniadz in hours. 10-15.
Traditionally, on the first Sunday of the month is organized also Antiquities and Crafts Fair Folk. To Kiermus exhibitors come from all over Polish. On the stands you can buy crafts folk, regional specialties and the proverbial old stuff, that is priceless antiques. The event will begin at dawn and end at approx. 15.
