Excellent poetess Ewa Leipzig has just released a book of poems. “The fingerprint reader” is a thirty-new, poignant and thought provoking songs. “You can not be friends with the crowd. You can be friends with a few people at most. The problem is that we often can not talk about. How to talk through social networking sites?” – Says RMF FM poet.
Catherine Sobiechowska-Szuchta: Recently you were a guest of the Warsaw Book Fair, at meetings with Ms were the crowds, what is the most frequently asked readers? What topics are moved, they wanted to know?
Ewa Leipzig: What’s interesting – do not ask me about personal issues, only talked about himself. The fact that they read my books for many years. They brought old editions of my books, which it releases I’ve even forgotten. They brought the book “zaczytane”. I really like it and I think it’s very touching, because it means that such a book alive. And there was a lady, not so young, who have all my books on the reader, as e-books. It’s me I hear from these people about themselves. And about how my creativity works on my readers. In general – for such a meeting – come people who read poetry.
There are artists who create, write, make art, movies, and then give them to readers, viewers, listeners and not too much longer like to talk about it. With you it is so? Do you like to talk with your readers?
On the one hand, I behave a bit like wyrodna mother and at the time the book Cease interest in her. I think of these verses best, which is still unwritten. But those already issued to belong to the readers. And I really like to talk with readers, like to talk with young people, I have great relations with them. We are talking not only about poetry. This is often a pretext to talk about life, about the present, the future, the past, about humanity, but also about love. I am open to all topics. Mad’m happy, if at a meeting of copyright we do not talk about the form, or what the author had in mind, but just about everything. I was once at the book fair in Guadalajara, Mexico, and questions young people were similar to our youth. Dilemmas “how to live, or leave, how do we fit in this reality?” They are in every latitude alike.
Lady A new book titled “The fingerprint reader”. On the one hand, the machine is something extremely universal, we all attach to her toes, and on the other hand, it is something very personal, because each of us has his unique unique fingerprints. It’s like poetry …
You’re right. This reader as biometric security, which we use, and at the same time something intimate, personal, unique and this group includes our fingerprints.
When I read a poem that gave the title to the entire tomikowi lady, remembered School study of friendship. One of the children wrote “I do not have friends because I do not have Facebook”
For indeed these Facebook friendships tend to be superficial. They are superficial. You can not be friends with the crowd. You can be friends with a few people at most. The problem is that we often can not speak. How to talk on social networking sites? You have to look at each other and be together. When these people, these friends of the virtual world are to meet in person, they are embarrassed, embarrassed and helpless. I do not quite know what to do with your hands, accustomed to hammering the keys. This is the whole drama, because it carries on personal life, to love life. And as you know, talk is only able to break some tension. And enriches us. Personal conversation, without intermediaries, is the most beautiful thing that can happen to us.
Lady – writing about intimacy – uses the expression “kiss billions of mouth.”
Because our personal kiss belongs to a billion. Today we often do not kiss with each other, but for billions of others.
Director Mariusz Trelinski asked recently if he would like to opera has become an art for the masses, denied, talking about the elitism of the art. Mrs. thinks so, too poetry?
Yes. It’s the same with poetry. Poetry is a restaurant for very refined palates. And hitting the masses is apparent. Always poetry was a species elite. I think that a good, high art, belongs to the elite. May these elites were as much.
