What is the “word”? In a decent home, decent citizens of one day in the elevator message appears. The inscription is offensive. In addition, it concerns one of the locals and do not know who is its author. Tenant decides to investigate. Doing it in a discreet manner, with the innate intelligence. Kindly invites neighbors to the welcome party to get to know, talk and solve the nagging question: who is the author of the inscription? Trivial event grows into a real scandal, and the characters – a seemingly well-positioned themselves and calm – reveals its true face.

Hot text on the stage of the Drama

The director present Julia Mark says that it is a comedy not only about the “terrible” townsmen, but also about what is happening in the world today. Seemingly banal inscription provokes a kind of hate speech. Heroes want to defend their own ideas about yourself, eg. On its tolerance. In fact, however, are hypocrites.

“Inscription” Gérald Sibleyras’a is a well-known French comedy. Its premiere took place in Paris in 2004 and since then the art is exhibited in many European stages. About the Author French newspaper wrote that a writer, “you can count on and which to be reckoned with! He is young, has ideas, talent and style.” His art will be able to see the Bialystok viewers. The play – based on this – is implemented at the Dramatic Theatre as part of Stage Artistic Initiatives.

– “Inscription” coincidence is so popular. It is a well-tailored comedy, well-written text – adds Julia Mark.

The director is also responsible for the set design, costumes and musical arrangement of the performance.

What’s hiding before the other?

In the presentation there are actors Węgierki – Krystyna Kacprowicz-Sokołowska, Agnieszka Możejko-Szekowska, Monika Zaborska-Wróblewska, Bernard Bania and Slawomir Poplawski. The most important character – Mr. Lebrun – a guest Pietruski Milosz, known for viewers with Wierszalin Theatre. Actors create a colorful gallery of characters, none of which is spotless.

The authors present a guarantee over an hour of fun, but not devoid of self-reflection. The text of touch because of our vices and weaknesses. What we want to hide from others. A glass of wine heroes by the minute will become less and less hypocritical and more and more real.

The premiere will take place on 19 March at. 19.00 on the small stage Drama Theatre. Another presentation on March 20, and the next in April.
