The Eternals Heroes is the fifth volume prepared by Geoff Johns, who represents the fate of the new Crime Syndicate. This organization appeared on the Earth and decided to subjugate all the inhabitants of the planet. Recent history is really complements the first adventure, and it can be regarded as a great spin-off dopowiadający events and closing multiple threads. Precisely for this reason the story is understandable even to readers who have not yet had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with this series. However, before reading to know that members of that organization is really “bad” Justice League, but rather characters from a parallel universe. This knowledge can be found in a prepared adventure.
Johns in this story presents several threads and starts from the legendary Black Adam, who initially defended his small country, but seeing the power and capabilities of the Syndicate Crime, decides to oppose them. It is not in my opinion the best start, because it can easily be felt here undue haste, which unfortunately continues in subsequent events … and they get to know the origins of the members of “reverse the Justice League.” How did the evil Batman (Owlman)? Who is Poor Superman (Ultraman)? It’s a very interesting story, but the events run so fast that we can not enjoy these interesting stories. I literally swallowed the page with the presentation of the fate of Owlmana because Geoff came up with a truly outstanding idea to show the birth of evil bat, but when the reader We sit back in his chair, he wants to soak up another card, you must start the next adventure. I note, however, that these alternative stories give a lot to think about – in reality we know Clark Kent had a lot of luck hitting the care of good people, and Bruce Wayne could cope with the tragic loss of his parents … Stories representatives of the Syndicate are initially similar, but each character wakes up evil, which have not they become heroes.
The main story prepared by the author are without a doubt the fate of the Cyborg, who must cope with a virus called the Network, and also struggling with the problem of finding androids. Metal Men do not look like typical superheroes, but as always happens at the right time to take a grip and are able to cope with adversity. Razi here, however, a very big schematic – initially unruly group in the face of danger can join forces and … This band turns out to be really effective. It is also one of the strongest themes of volume, because the author is not run by the paper and allows the reader to rest. Attention certainly deserves the figure of Cyborg, which is presented as “the last defender of humanity,” and although seemingly hero does not seem especially interesting, it nabiega forces during the story. Metal Meni also reproduce certain patterns, but in fact their adventure (because of the calmer course of events) can intrigue.
Developer clearly decided to grab a couple of magpies by the tail, and instead focus on one decent topic, offers the reader several events are inconsistent with each other. Far better to look this volume, if Johns decided to more accurate and more decent representation of the entire Association Superłotrów. Each of the anti-heroes should get the correct number of pages, so that Eternals Heroes actually would be a delicious complement to the Evil One. Going even farther adventure Cyborg and crew metal Runner deserves a sensible extension and submit additional topics depicting various characters … Author but he decided not to such pleasures, and one can easily get the impression that Eternals comic book heroes are not for all DC fans. It is rather a supplement, which should refer to the most loyal fans of the series and fans of Victor Stone – the youngest member of the Justice League goes to work and shows that you can count on him.
Fortunately, it is difficult here to complain about the work of graphic designers. I will refer again to the events and Ultraman and Owlmana, because that’s in the works of Ivan Reis and Doug Mahnke’a can see the exquisite craftsmanship, dynamics and their alternative visions of the characters fall decently. Tablet perfectly represent the beginning Superłotrów and their projects are laden with references to members of the Justice League, while artists do not forget about the appearance of “evil.” Attention certainly deserves to have the same issue, because the publishing house Egmont again does not disappoint – volume was dressed in a tough setting, and finally we get to know a few more covers and nice sketches.
