Chris De Burgh will be the next star of the final concert of this year’s anti-war LFO. Author timeless hit “The Lady in Red” will play in Oswiecim on Saturday, June 20.
Not many artists can boast an equally impressive career, Chris De Burgh what. The music scene is present since the early 70s, bought his records 50 million people worldwide, and recorded by him in 1986 ballad “The Lady In Red” is one of the biggest pop hits of all time.
The Irish singer has sung in concerts to celebrate the reunification of Germany, the war in Lebanon and for the thousands of fans at the stadium in Liverpool. Now the LFO will support anti-war message, appearing on 20 June at the stadium MOSiR in Auschwitz, at a special concert “Artists Against War”. It will be a unique opportunity to see De Burgh on the festival stage – the artist at the place of their choosing the most intimate concert halls.

Chris DeBurgh is another world-class star, who will perform at this year’s Life Festival Oswiecim. Joined by, among others, to UB40, Jessie Ware and Manu Chao. At the concert “Artists Against War”, which is the culmination of the LFO 2015 also gets Kayah & amp; Transoriental Orchestra, Ukrainian project Czubaj Terrace & amp; Kozak system and a group of Lemon. Among the other artists who will see on Thursday (18.06) and Friday (19.06) include Bednarek, Hey, Kensington and Mel Koteluk.
