This extreme sought to show on Saturday, the organizers of the seventeenth Feasts Piastowskiej in the Archaeological Reserve in Zawodzie.
The event started at 14:00 opening Inns “Under the overthrown idols.” Here, for a small donation you can taste the potatoes with white cheese, bread with lard, podpłomyków with honey, pickled cucumbers, wine, fruit and yeast dough. Feasts Piastowskie, organized for 17 years by the Brotherhood of the Knights of Kalisz and the Association KALISZ XXI, slowly approaching the age of majority. Such a long time of their existence, thousands of reenactors and visitors who participated in them since 2000, shows that this event has already permanently inscribed in the landscape of the cultural life of Kalisz and what is very important in the repertoire of major events and historical – reconstruction in Poland. Feasts Piastowskie offer an opportunity to get acquainted with wszelakimi aspects of life in medieval Europe, showing that this period was a very colorful and interesting.
