the Solemn opening 62. art of the season 2016/2017 in the Opera and Philharmonic of Podlasie will be held on Friday (23 September). Chorus and orchestra of the OiFP will present the oratorio “Quo vadis” Felix Novoselskogo.

Recordings of this oratorio made OiFP Choir along with the musicians of the Poznan Philharmonic. So Szeligowskiego in June of this year. Solos will sing Olga Rusin – soprano, Robert Gierlach – baritone and Wojciech Gierlach – bass. The concert will be conducted by the Paul Pot.

the Oratorio “Quo vadis” is the most famous work Novoselskogo. The inspiration for its creation was the novel by Henryk Sienkiewicz. During the break, the concert Queen Wilhelmina awarded Novoselskogo ring and a Laurel wreath with ribbons in the national colors of the Netherlands.
