The most important event of the German incoming tourism, 42. GTM Germany Travel Mart, continued this year from 17 to 19 April, this time it was held in Magdeburg. In the professional market contacts were this year attended by representatives of seven Polish travel agencies.
The ancient Magdeburg – medieval metropolis and the cradle of Magdeburg law – is the capital of Saxony-Anhalt, which until 1990 remained within the German Democratic Republic. Also invited approx. 120 media representatives from more than 40 countries.
The main point of the event was a two-day workshop in B2B Messe Magdeburg. Here, in two halls he presented the hotel industry and transport and local and regional tourist organizations. The central location was of course to Magdeburg and other cities in Saxony-Anhalt – Wittenberg, Quedlinburg, Dessau, Halle and Wernigerode.
