 Hugh Glass seeks revenge on the people who left him seriously injured after a bear attack.
 
 
  In April Film Club screen offers four projections. The first will be presented “ Phantom ” (time: 2 hours 36 minutes), directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu ( “Birdman,” “Babel,” “Amores perros,” “21 g ‘). The projection will begin on Monday April 4 at 19:00 in the cinema Theatre of Rybnik .

Tickets cost 13 zł (normal) and 8 zł (reduced). ticket for a whole month – 39 zł (four projections – “Phantom,” “Carol,” “Barany. Icelandic tale,” “Mustang”).

It is worth noting that the “phantom” got in this year’s 12 Oscar nominations, eventually earning three awards. They were given to Leonardo DiCaprio (best actor), Alejandro González Iñárritu (best director) and Emmanuel Lubezki (best picture). For the latter it was the third Oscar in a row. In previous years Lubezki was awarded for “Gravity” and “Birdmana.”


 
 
Year 1822. The legendary explorer Hugh Glass is brutally attacked in front of the bear and left by comrades to die in inaccessible terrain. To survive, he must face the murderous winter and a betrayal of his best friend (Tom Hardy – “Mad Max: On the road rage”), who abandons him away from civilization with no hope of rescue. Thanks to the extraordinary willpower Glass overcomes adversity to find each other and bring justice to the enemy.
