The Star-Lord, GAMOR, Rocket, Groot, Drax continue their stellar conquest, but this time their group joins Iron Man. Hero of the Earth does not explain his arrival in the guards, but this meeting is not accidental. At first, the heroes having a great time in one of the pubs, Tony Stark smiles even luck, but all good things come to an end. The protagonists once again are being chased by headhunters, so the group decided not to risk it and embarks on another trip. However, this ends up as quickly it started. On their way to becoming banished angel Angela, who really does not know why there is in this place, at this time, and who brought her here. One thing is certain – a half-naked woman stands against the Guardians and does not intend to let go, even for a moment. Its aim is to Earth, and as you probably know, the team of Peter Quill is not going to look at the wrong people. Clash does not last too long, but let’s look at an interesting relationship between the Guardians and at the same time shows the ability of individual characters. The fight is dynamic, impressive and its completion is difficult to predict.
It is here for sure for a few seconds to stop the Angel – form the first time they know readers adventures Spawn in 1993. The creators antagonistki was the duo Neil Gaiman (writer) and Todd McFarlane (cartoonist), who then fought a court battle for the rights to the character. The winner was a writer Gaiman and then decided to sell the character of Marvel Comics. Angela plays a key role in this story, because it really marvelowskich adventurous readers only know this icon. His little debut passed in the Age of Ultron, which is prepared by Brian Michael Bendis, that the author of this volume. Writer in an excellent way connects the two albums, because it shows that the events of the Earth in the Age of Ultron affected the entire galaxy. The key role that reason plays Iron Man, which is the bond of both adventures. It is a pity only that Tony has not received a few extra sheets and outlines although superficially the problem of the planet.
Developer fun stories at the same time leaves a lot unsaid, that you can catch only after two comics. In this way raises an interesting relationship that encourages readers to discover even more volumes – from the perspective of the characters from the Earth and from the point of view of the Guardians of the Galaxy. You need to be aware, however this correlation, which really is not presented by the author. Even Stark does not explain their knowledge and reluctant to share with Star-Lord information. As a result, the comic loses its strength and can leave unsatisfied disputes.
In addition, the introduction of this interesting as far overshadows the whole story. The action at the beginning of gaining good momentum (two fights), but then events definitely slow down and the reader until the very end of the adventure is witnessing a very reflective scenes. Definitely missing in mid-volume stronger accent that would maintain the level of creativity. Adventure finally back on the right track, but as it usually happens is the only ploy encouraging readers to the next volume.
On the positive attention certainly deserves the work of Sarah Pichelli. The artist from Italy already in the Ultimate Spider-Man showed his skills, but the Guardians of the Galaxy develop their skills. Graphic artist is not afraid of the dark color, strong lines, multi-panel drawings and presents the characters in an excellent way. Pichelli best to cope with feminine figures that look sharp and sexy.
Bendis just kicks and no doubt this comic is just another prelude to the approaching events. In subsequent volumes we will know the answers to the questions – what is going to Angela? On which side of the state? Do you destroy earthlings? However, because of this experience it is quite uneven. There is a new form, but clearly missing in this story details. We still do not know the intentions Anielicy not know its history, and even though we do not get scratched events of the said era Ultron. This information might come in later volumes – when finally Iron Man begins to speak – but in this situation the reader, like the characters, you may feel a little lost.
You can not hide, however, that the writer must eventually move to specifics. With this comic take a look at for the same work and Angela Pichelli, but readers deserve an explanation of multi-threading and accurate representation of the Angel. Without a doubt, it is preparing something big event that will connect Avengersów the Guardians of the Galaxy, and these two comics (and discussed Era Ultron) promise a great storm.
