National Competition Moniuszko. The extended closing date – BiałystokOnline.pl

September 15, the organizers lengthened the application deadline to participate in the XII National Moniuszko Competition “Aria and Song of the Evening”.

The competition aims to nurture a Polish national culture and the promotion of Polish art songs, including “Household Songbook” Stanislaw Moniuszko. The organizers wish to interest children, youth and adults the life and work of Stanislaw Moniuszko, with emphasis Podlasie family roots Moniuszków coat of arms Harm.

The contest will be held on 26 and 27 September. They can take

part in it, and soloist singers aged 18 to 35 years. The program will be hearing songs and opera arias Stanislaw Moniuszko, including mandatory “X Songbook Home” and songs of other composers from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Gala concert of the winners will take place on September 27 at the Palace Branickich.

The competition is accompanied Moniuszkowskiemu XII Festival of Podlasie. It will begin a concert on October 5. Patronage events.
