“Moonlight” is, in essence, a story about growing up a poor black guy. It would not be wrong to call it a film about drug addiction, school violence and problems of the American prison system. But these are so insufficient that, on the contrary, misleading. To better capture the spirit and atmosphere of this charming film, writing that tells about teaching baby swimming, cooking for an old friend, to touch the sand on the skin and the sound of the waves on spowitej the darkness of the beach, first kisses and things which we have long regret.

“Moonlight”, based on the play “Black Boys In the Moonlight Look Blue” Tarella Alvin McCraneya, rozbrajającym and sometimes even unbearable personal film, but also the scorching document of the company, simply look at American reality and skomponowanym line of light, music and expressive human faces.

Showered with awards, including a Golden World, “Moonlight” – a chronicle of the life of a young African-American from childhood to adulthood, this work is quite unique. The film is both a timeless story about finding your place in the world, and deeply personal, poetic study of identity, race, puberty, manhood, family, friendship and love. “Moonlight” has received several nominations for Oscars, including for best film.

Pre-show is scheduled for 6 February at 18.00 in the cinema Forum.
