Gallery Arsenal among the best in the country
Gallery Arsenal in Bialystok was created in 1965. as one of the Offices Art Exhibitions. Since 1990. managed by Monika szewczyk. Currently it is a city cultural institution will host the school’s budget Bialystok.
Gallery from years maintains a consistent and consistently installed the exhibition. Represents and promotes art in various media, giving an excellent overview of the most important and interesting phenomena in Polish art, not avoiding problems and experiments. The gallery holds around 20 exhibitions per year – not only in its two offices in białystok, but in the country and abroad. A special place in the programme of Arsenal is given to the projects for the countries of Eastern Partnership and Central Europe showing trends and changes, working with vector graphics in the contemporary art of these regions.
Arsenal took 8. place in the ranking of “Policy”. Its creators emphasize that białostoczanie don’t have to go anywhere to look eye-catching modern art – the best creators come in Bialystok.
In General, the ranking was 20. First place went to the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, the second – the national Gallery of Art zachęta and the third State Art Gallery in Sopot.
