Today already everyone is aware of mass surveillance. More and more items in our environment is connected to the Internet. They did not just computers or phones. It is mounted as standard in cars, refrigerators, televisions.
From time to time you hear reports of break-ins hacking into various systems. Increasingly, you can hear the voices of the dangers behind the war in cyberspace. The fact that thanks to the internet can paralyze the country, causing difficulties in communication, finance and energy. However, if this is the greatest threat posed by the information space? Is the power of the state is telling us about all the dangers? Is the game Pokemon Go carries real risks? As they say the devil is in the details.
Before you can answer all these questions, we should consider the importance of cyberspace today, which is really the information and what it should mean. The world is changing day by day and in the near future through automation and robotics, physical work will go to rest, and we are left to do mainly work information.
Currently, only a few are aware of the fact that our participation is the world’s largest discoveries in the field of information. Maintaining a low awareness of Poles in this respect is one of the elements of information warfare. Its aim is to cut off the society of knowledge, allowing for effective defense against manipulation and propaganda hostile forces, conducting outreach in our country. Also our political parties and other social groups, who want to have a propaganda impact on the greatest number of people use such tactics.
Propaganda is not always harmful, but without a solid knowledge the choice between what is right and what is wrong, leave in the hands of eg. the mass media that promote what they consider to be appropriate. In Poland it is so insecure, that as we know our mass media as television, radio, newspapers or the major internet portals, are largely controlled by entities of foreign countries.
Returning to our study, in the next articles will present only the most eminent discovery, because the topic is extensive.
