“Prison of the world” is an extraordinary spectacle, inspired by memories of people deported to Siberia and Kazakhstan, with the participation of the deaf. The show will be on 2 and 3 September at the Dramatic Theatre.

The result of several months of workshops conducted under the guidance of instructors – Izabela M. Wilczewski and Christopher Zemło whose participants are deaf and hard of hearing will be final, the September show. His inspiration are memories of people deported to Siberia and Kazakhstan in 1940-41. Project title refers to the title of “the biggest prison in the world”, which has gained Siberia in the twentieth century. The show features people with hearing disabilities.
The project is implemented by the Association for Helping deaf MIG-sk with financial support from the President of Bialystok, Podlasie Regional Board and the Museum of Polish History in the framework of the program “Patriotism of Tomorrow”. The show will be presented 2 and 3 September at. 19.00 Dramatic Theatre. Free entry.
