Before us another premiere at the Opera and Philharmonic – this time on the stage of the Odessa will be presented at “Carmen” by Georges Bizet, French composer.

The ongoing trial for the opera “Carmen”

directing, set design, costumes and stage movement corresponds to Beata Redo-Dobber, for years associated with the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera in Warsaw.

The director announced that staging, though faithful to the principles set by Bizet, will surprise the audience modernity and numerous references to everyday life. The roles full of emotions and passions of the characters will play the perfect artists – Agnieszka Rhelis and Joanna Krasuska-Motulewicz in the role of Carmen, and to partner with them will be Raphael Bartmiński and David Beucher as Don José and Dariusz waving and Adam Wozniak as Escamillo. Of course, the event will be attended by the Choir and Orchestra of the Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic. Musical direction of the spectacle became music director of the Opera and Philharmonic Michael Klauza.

In preparation for “Carmen” also be included Maciej Tomasiewicz – conductor, graduate of the Academy of Music in Katowice, which in the season 2015/2016 will work with OiFP under the “Conductor – resident” carried out by the Institute of Music and Dance. The program is aimed at presenting and promoting young Polish conductors and enable them to IPO and acquisition of performance practice in contact with a professional team of orchestra.

Currently, the latest production rehearsals for Opera. The premiere of “Carmen” on stage OiFP on the 25th of September. The production of the opera was financed from the budget of the City of Bialystok. Patrons of the event.
