Entertainment pierces information – IQS report on online video – Marketing with coffee

According to Poles future of the Internet will belong to the VoD service. The survey results show that traditional video channels are being replaced by modern techniques such as video on demand and live Internet TV.

Recordings watch the news more often respondents aged 50 years and more than young people aged 15-18. Significant Poles are also materials of a handbook character who prefer to watch women (62 percent.) Than men (52 percent.).

What we will see in the future on the Internet? More than 1/3 of respondents are not able to indicate to which video services will belong future of the web, 36 percent. of respondents believe that this will be a VoD.

The least popular proved to be traditional TV channels from broadcasting live on the website.

70 percent. of respondents use the Internet every day or almost every day. 9 per cent. of respondents using it once a week or even less frequently. Who is watching video on the Internet? Men more often than women watching a recording posted online, as well as young people, aged 15-18 years (91 percent.). More than half of the respondents aged 50 and older use the Internet to watch videos.

About the survey
The survey was conducted from 19 to 21 May 2015. Realised RTS online survey technique on a sample of thousands of Polish Internet users aged 15 and older, selected in way random-quota. Implementer: public opinion research center IQS commissioned Newsrm.TV.
