the main Idea of the project was a reminder of the history of the region, its importance for the city of Rybnik and contribution to national development, and, above all, the excitement of pride of their “small Motherland” and involvement of residents in active work for the benefit of the district. The project was implemented through a cycle of generations of art workshops, photography, author’s meetings, lectures, historical, urban game, and, above all, a meeting with residents. Collected memories, anecdotes, photographs of the district is given in created the so-called Archive of the society is a Blog about the District of Paruszowiec-Sands.
the first Lecture took place on may 11, followed the lectures under the name “Silesia” Guta Design”. Were also created lanterns out of clay, inspired by the architecture of Paruszowca – classes had the character międzypokoleniowy: thanks to the cooperation of pensioners with children have unusual lights. The turnout surprised the organizers, the sessions gathered more than 50 people. The project was also organized art workshops and master-classes on photography for children. Residents of the area also participated in the city game “Expedition trail old photos”. Game in search of “the former Paruszowca” was to collect points that can be exchanged for prizes.

the completion of the project occurred on 7 Dec. Paruszowieckiej in the library with the residents of the district was found Natkaniec, and Jerzy Francis Sycha, the authors of the books: “My Metallurgical plant “Silesia” and “will Not allow to forget about the Plant Silesia”. The meeting was connected with the exhibition of old photographs Paruszowca and works created at the workshops.
