Durotan is the title and the name of the main character – a young leader of the clan Frost Wolves. Characters fans known universe. On the pages of the book we learn more about toil and drudgery, how proud tribe, brown orcs abolished in the early years of Durotan as a leader. One day, a brave clan visits the mysterious Gul’dan, offering struggling with an increasingly grim winters and inventory shortages promised land. The Wizard collects the Horde and offers visa lead her to paradise, where the game is not missing anyone, and orcs of different clans work and live side by side. The promise of delusion, at first treated as a harmless invention, eventually enters the Frost Wolves in their darkest period, while fraught decisions will naturally rest on the shoulders of just Durotan.
Despite knowing the universe know what happened next, the circumstances in what he was the hero and his friends, among whom full of iconic form of Warcraft as Orgrim Doomhammer, were a good background to outline their distinctive character. The characters, however, are one-dimensional. Even Durotan. This ruler painfully fair, though seeking support for its decisions in a relationship, and sometimes simply are almost sure of his decision. One of the key elements of the role-playing puzzle is also easy to predict, which is a profession. Despite this, Durotan reading is simply pleasant in terms of readership entertainment. The book she wrote Christie Golden, forming novel series in the world, not only the Warcraft, StarCraft but, Star Trek and Star Wars. It has so solid technique. Cold Wolves are rigidly attached to the tribe cultivated from years of tradition and their own roots, so too stubborn on certain issues. It is the people ruled by hand Spirits, with whom they talk shamans – simple but brave. The author managed to paint a picture of a superstitious society, highlight its insular nature, and at the same time show how background play out the events leading to the formation of one of the two main factions of the world of Warcraft. And naturally leave us when we want to continue the thread.
Durotan has its dose of drama and although devoid of twists and turns, or even at all surprises, it acts as a single issue. It offers a smooth entry into the world of Blizzard to those of the RTS-ah or network World of Warcraft know little, and would like to visit the cinema to lick some of these realities. Moreover, that was certainly the task. That is why more item for unfamiliar with the history of the Warcraft than seasoned topic. In the role of a bite to whet your appetite before the film in my book he is checked. So if someone does not mind “craft” character, it can safely consider it in the category of light reading for a few days.
