To take advantage of the wealth of local inspiration in the design of utility in Podlasie? Drumlane association with the Bialystok Cultural Centre invites you to a debate, “Podlaski dizajn – Paths of inspiration for the creative industries in the region.”

During the meeting, participants will reflect on possibilities of utilization of the unique cultural assets of Podlasie as a source of inspiration for contemporary design. They want to appeal at the same time both the multicultural heritage of folk and industrial Podlasie, as well as the remains of modernist architecture and design of post-war Bialystok. During the discussion, participants will present also recognized the experience of local initiatives for the design of other Polish cities.

These are just some of the issues which will discuss the invited guests – cultural activists and creators of art from Podlasie and representatives of initiatives to support the development of creative industries and design of the Polish cities – Eva Gołębiowska, Anna Kotowicz-Puszkarewicz, Agnieszka Wojciechowska and Magdalena Pietruk. Philip Pazderski debate will be moderated. It will be held Dec. 16 at. 18.00 FAMI.

After the debate, there is energetic team flea – the world’s greatest experts on the hop-siupu. Is a musical genre created by flea beetles in the heart of the Kujawy, on the border of moors, marshes, forests, military training, mine sand and a metal factory. Vocal in the works inspired by traditional przyśpiewkami.
